My name is Jen and I am a writer living in Canada.

At the moment (and it has been a long moment) I am in the process of rewriting my first manuscript, Brave Young Boys, in the hopes of having it published one day.

A long time fanfiction writer, I post my stories on three websites (fanfiction.net, AO3, and Wattpad) all under the name: owenharpersgirl.

On top of writing, I am also in my first year of college for Early Childhood Education.

I have a dog who is my constant writing companion (I write, she sleeps). I love movies and watch way too much TV. Any procrastinating I do is usually the result of me binge-watching Marvel films, The Walking Dead, or some other program I’m hooked on.

I will be posting on this blog (that was so cleverly named) a variety of things that are bound to change from time to time. I plan to talk about my experiences as a writer, writing tips, and different aspects of writing. I will also be posting book reviews, quotes, writing prompts, and poetry, as well as a few other things I’m currently trying out.
