Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful holiday season whatever you may have celebrated and I know it’s only the second, but I hope you’re all having a wonderful 2016 so far!

I took a brief break from blogging for a little while at the end of the 2015, why? I got a job. Yes, unfortunately being an unpublished writer doesn’t make much (any) money, but I got a job over the Christmas season working in retail.

The best part? It’s one of my favourite stores (no it’s not a bookstore) and they’re keeping me! Apparently I did an okay job over the Christmas season because even though it’s over now they’re still keeping me on. I’m very excited about this, but I’m also very excited to get back to blogging, fanfiction writing, and novel writing!

Even though I’ll still be working, with the holidays over my hours won’t be as crazy which means I’ll have more time to write and work on blog posts and I’m incredibly excited to get back into it!

I look forward to an awesome and crazy 2016 with you all!

*Also, the rest of the months will have more books listed. For some reason it was a struggle to find books being released this month and then when I went on Amazon a lot of the ones I did find were only available for the Kindle*

Starting these lists was such a bad idea because all it’s really doing is adding more books to my ‘To Read’ list.

Are you going to read any of these?

August 2015 Book Releases

August

I decided to try something new today and talk about the books that are going to be released this month! Depending on how well this goes and how I feel about, I may try to do this every month.

Finding the books for this list was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be because there’s so many different lists with different information. It was also hard to describe books I’ve never read before. I obviously didn’t want to just copy and paste the description of each book right from Amazon or Goodreads so I did my best to describe it in my own way and am hoping it worked out alright!

Also, there are only ten books on this list, but in figure there would be many more.

I apologize in advance for the wonky layout of this post, it was the only way everything would stay where I needed it to without being weird sizes.

If I do decide to do more posts like these in the future they’ll definitely be up earlier than this. This took a lot longer than I thought and I was also doing something similar on my other blog which took ages and was harder than I thought as well.

I think the most difficult part was trying to paraphrase the synopsis. I’m not totally sure how copyright laws apply to the synopsis of books and films, but I’m just assuming it’s still plagiarism. Is it? Can someone tell me because I have no idea.

Let me know if you liked this and, if you’re a writer with something coming out soon, let me know and I’ll include it if I do this again!

Which of these books are you looking forward to reading?
